Jane's Sculpture Process

Step One

Starting with a small piece of clay the heart and character of the piece is formed.

Step Two

Next the body is built slowly into the desired shape.		 step two

Step Three

The sculpture is hollowed out to prevent it from exploding during the kiln firing.

Once hollowed out, the body features are then added followed by the final delicate texturing of the fur and feathers.

Step Four

Air dried for six weeks or longer, it is now finally kiln fired then hand painted and varnished. You now have your own unique sculpture.		 step four
